Aims

To examine population wide health risks at the global level and evaluate global strategic responses to these risks

Learning Outcomes

After completing the module the student should be able to:

1. Critically analyse the relationship between globalisation and health risk factors at the global level
2. Critically analyse social and commercial determinants of health from a global perspective
3. Critically appraise the role of Global Health Governance in managing health risks internationally
4. Critically evaluate strategic responses to health risk and the role of international organisations in this endeavour
