Aims

The module aims to provide an analysis of the theories, concepts and frameworks associated with transformational strategic management. Learners will develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the complexities of creating, evaluating and maintaining ethical and sustainable business growth strategies within a dynamic internal and external environment.

Learning Outcomes

After completing the module the student should be able to:

  1. Learners will be able to critically evaluate and apply strategic management theory and frameworks to design a sustainable strategic management plan
  2. Learners will be able to critically assess the role of stakeholders, governance structures and the internal and external business environment in creating and operationalising transformational strategic change
  3. Learners will be able to evaluate the importance of crisis and risk management in creating a sustainable management strategy
