Aims
To develop a sound understanding of the fundamental concepts of modern applied transport economics.


Learning Outcomes
After completing the module the student should be able to:
1 Examine transport market dynamics shaping supply and demand.
2 Debate the interrelationship between transport costs and international trade flows.
3 Propose how the spatial development of future transport systems will affect associated environmental costs.
4 Appraise the effectiveness of economic regulation of transport and formulation of integrated policy.
