Research Methods

This module encourages students to develop their skills as a potential producer of research, as well as their ability to systematically evaluate research outcomes from a variety of sources. In addition, students will engage in a variety of data analysis techniques. It will provide a critical knowledge base of the philosophical foundations of public health research, and enable the student to develop competencies in qualitative, quantitative and systematic/scoping review data collection methods and analysis. Finally, it will prepare the student to carry out their dissertation project.
